SusProg3D - Suspension by Design.
Version 4.640 has a number of enhancements.

Thanks to all of those who made comments and suggestions.

In no particular order.


Added an option to the Panhard rod to allow for connecting to the axle or to a birdcage.

bulletAdded the speedway style rear suspension, using a Winters torque tube axle, 4 links, birdcages and Jacobs ladder.

There are a few limitations with this release:

1 The calculated axle centreline is the midpoint between the axle splined ends. For the 44-1 axle the axle centreline is 2" to the right from the pinion centreline.
It is planned to change this to use the pinion centreline as the reference.
2 The wheel spacer thickness equals the width of the spacers between the axle flange and the birdcage plus the width of the birdcage bearing plus the total width any spacers outboard from the birdcage.
It is planned to change this and wheel spacer thickness will only be those spacers outboard from the birdcage bearing.
3 There is no Excel input or output available for any Jacobs ladder point.
Current plans are to implement the changes for all the above in the next release, V4.650
4 Jacobs ladder must be on the right hand side, with the "point" of the ladder outboard from the chassis mounting points.

Updated to the latest Delphi 10.3.0 Rio compiler

V4.640B (Build 1233.1) bug fixes.


Updated the Excel exports "Roll" values to include sign. Positive values are LH roll, negative values are RH roll.
